• Account information - name, email, password (hashed), and similar details you provide when creating an account.
• Waitlist & onboarding data - company information, fleet/lane/shipment details, and similar context you provide in our forms.
• Usage data - log data, device and browser information, and pages you view. We use this to keep the product reliable and to improve it over time.
• Communications - messages you send us via email or support channels.

3. How we use information

• To operate the FreightLoop platform and provide the service.
• To match shippers and carriers, send confirmations, and coordinate pilots and onboarding.
• To communicate with you about your account, waitlist status, product updates, and policy changes.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal or company information. We share information only with:

• Service providers that help us run the platform (e.g. hosting, email delivery, analytics) under appropriate contractual protections.
• Counterparties to a transaction you initiate on the platform (e.g. matched carriers or shippers), limited to information reasonably required to coordinate the load.

We keep account and submission data for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us at support@freightloop.co.

6. Your choices

• Access and correction - you can view and update your waitlist submission at /me.
• Marketing emails - every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link.
• Deletion - email support@freightloop.co to request account deletion.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission is 100% secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep it private.

8. Children

FreightLoop is a business platform and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
